Israeli army wounds a Palestinian woman northern (sic) Gaza
Gaza, May 7, 2009 (Ramattan) – A Palestinian woman was injured on Thursday as the Israeli army opened heavy fire towards Palestinian farmers in the city of Rafah south of Gaza, Palestinian medical sources said.
The Director of Emergency and Ambulance Services in Gaza, Dr Moawiya Hassanein, told Ramattan that the 32-year-old Randa Shaloof were injured in her hand after the Israeli soldiers opened fire while she was planting in her agriculture field east of Rafah.
